Recent Report on Development Studies Graduates
|
A 2017 report from CASID/CCUPIDS surveyed 1,901 graduates of 14 IDS programs across Canada. The report showed that only 52.5% of IDS graduates were working in development either directly or indirectly (p.24). It also noted that "the top two most significant barriers to employment reported by IDS grads were ‘not enough jobs' and ‘too much experience’ required" (p.3).
What the data is not able to show is if graduates knew where to look for jobs or opportunities. This site shows where the jobs are, and shows opportunities you can take to build experience and start setting up your career.

This will greatly reduce the burden of site maintenance, meaning more time for looking up new links, and will help ensure up to date connections.
